4711 Eau de Cologne
Originated in Cologne 1792 by a Carthusian monk, the "Aqua Miribilis" that is now known as 4711, was developed by a young merchant Wilhem Mulhens - his grandson, Ferdinand Mulhens, registered the company, calling it an Eau de Cologne and perfume factory and citing the exact address at 4711, Glockengasse. The secret recipe which includes essential oils from special citrus fruits and traces of rosemary and lavender, is matured slowly until it develops its unique properties.
Evening in Paris & Devon Violets
In 1929, Bourjois created Evening in Paris, one of the most celebrated perfumes throughout the world. It was an immediate success and a firm favourite during WWII, and even now this beautiful fragrance conjures up the headiness of wartime dance halls, seamed stockings and G.I.s. Re-launched in limited quantities as Soir de Paris - this classic fragrance is as evocative as ever and has been beautifully repackaged in a unique cobalt blue crescent bottle. Still modern, still romantic...A rare find.
